Black Gold Guns is offering for sale a one-of-a-kind Houston Police Department commemorative rifle made by Henry Repeating Arms to active and retired members of the Houston Police Department, exclusively through Black Gold Guns & Ammo, LLC., Houston, Texas.  Working with numerous Houston police officers, Black Gold Guns & Ammo completed a design for these commemorative rifles these officers are excited about and would be proud to have in their collection.  Further, Black Gold Guns & Ammo has worked closely with the owner of Historical Armory, Paul Brunswig, to design the Houston P. D. Special Edition commemorative rifles in a manner that makes them an instant classic.

The Houston P.D. Special Edition commemorative rifles will be made in .22 magnum and .44 magnum calibers with a blued finished octagon barrel, feeding tube, and “big loop” cocking lever (The big loop cocking lever is not depicted in the artwork).  The Houston P. D. Special Edition features a golden finished receiver, barrel strap and butt plate. The right side of the stock has a depiction of the current HPD patch and the forestock has the inscription “Houston Police Department Est. 1841”.  The right side of the receiver has a depiction of the Houston Police Memorial and the city of Houston skyline, along with the scales of justice.  The left side of the stock is reserved for individual personalization at an additional charge.  The left forestock has the HPD motto “Order Through Law” and “Justice With Mercy”.  The left side of the receiver has a depiction of an officer’s badge (the badge number will be 2014 to depict each rifle’s year of manufacture) and supervisor’s badge (with the number 1841 in the top ribbon) along with the depiction of a patrol vehicle, solo motorcycle officer, a mounted patrol officer, and the “Fox” helicopter in the background.

The owner of Henry Repeating Arms, Anthony Imperato, has agreed to provide each Houston P. D. Special Edition with a special series of serial numbers.  The Houston P. D. Special Edition .22 caliber magnum will be numbered stating with the serial number HPD0001 and the .44 caliber magnum will be numbered starting with the serial number 0001HPD.
